Connecting Women’s Organizations and Advocacy Networks

RUWON Nepal is committed to strengthening collaboration among women’s organizations and building a nationwide network dedicated to advancing gender equality, women’s empowerment, and social justice. To date, RUWON Nepal has established strong partnerships and working relationships with 59 women’s organizations across Nepal.

Through these networks, RUWON Nepal promotes knowledge sharing, collective advocacy, leadership development, and collaboration on issues affecting women and girls, particularly those from rural and marginalized communities. The organization also plans to organize a National Rural Women’s Conference, bringing together women leaders, activists, community organizations, and stakeholders to discuss the root causes of discrimination and marginalization and identify strategies to improve opportunities, education, leadership, and participation for women and girls throughout Nepal.

RUWON Nepal actively participates in and celebrates important national and international observance days that promote women’s rights, gender equality, peace, youth development, and human rights. These events provide opportunities to raise awareness, advocate for social change, and engage communities in meaningful dialogue.

Community Engagement and Impact

In collaboration with partner organizations, schools, local governments, and community groups, RUWON Nepal organizes rallies, awareness campaigns, workshops, discussions, and public events to promote gender equality, women’s rights, child protection, youth empowerment, peacebuilding, and social inclusion.

Through these initiatives, RUWON Nepal continues to strengthen women’s voices, build solidarity among organizations, and create platforms for collective action that contribute to a more equitable and inclusive society.
