Leadership Development for Gender Equality and Capacity Building Training
“Empowering Women Leaders for Equality and Change”
RUWON Nepal’s Leadership Development for Gender Equality and Capacity Building Program empowers women from rural and marginalized communities with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become effective leaders and advocates for positive change.
The training covers leadership development, gender equality, women’s empowerment, human rights, democracy, social justice, and community participation. Participants strengthen their communication, decision-making, teamwork, and leadership skills while building confidence to engage in community and public life.
Through the program, women are encouraged to advocate for their rights, challenge discrimination, promote gender equality, and contribute to the social and economic development of their communities.
To date, more than 355 women from rural and disadvantaged backgrounds have participated in leadership and capacity-building training, helping create stronger female leaders and role models across Nepal.
Training programs are conducted based on the availability of sponsorship and funding support.
