About RUWON Nepal

Rural Women’s Network Nepal (RUWON Nepal) is a women-led, non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization dedicated to improving the lives of girls and women in Nepal since 2007. The organization works to promote education, empowerment, leadership, and sustainable development opportunities for women and girls, particularly those from rural, marginalized, and disadvantaged communities.
RUWON Nepal is committed to advancing human rights, with a special focus on women’s rights and gender equality. The organization addresses critical social issues affecting women and girls, including poverty, limited access to education, gender-based discrimination, health challenges, social exclusion, and violations of child and women’s rights.
