Free English Lessons
Through education, RUWON aspires to empower disadvantaged women, build their self-esteem and assist them to actively achieve their rights across all areas of society.
In 2009, RUWON ran a project offering literacy classes for disadvantaged women. Six days a week for two hours, the women were educated by volunteer teachers in Nepalese literacy and the English language. Altogether 235 women were trained through this project.
